New updated investigation by Microwave News raises further questions about WHO radiofrequency review process
A newly updated investigation by Microwave News has highlighted serious concerns about the World Health Organization’s review of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMF), including questions around transparency, scientific independence, and the handling of evidence.
These issues are of significant public importance. WHO reviews can influence national health policies and regulatory decisions worldwide, making it essential that the process is open, rigorous, and based on a comprehensive assessment of the science.
Public health decisions must consider the full body of scientific evidence, not just selected studies or findings that support a preferred conclusion. A credible review process must give proper consideration to evidence that may challenge existing assumptions.
Following the earlier investigation, the EM Radiation Research Trust wrote to UK Government ministers calling for transparency and an independent examination of the serious concerns raised.
The response from the UK Government has been deeply disappointing. Rather than addressing the specific scientific concerns raised, the correspondence has largely been passed between departments without providing any meaningful response to the questions requiring urgent attention.
The public deserves reassurance that decisions affecting health and safety are based on a transparent and genuinely independent assessment of all relevant scientific evidence.
We are calling for proper scrutiny, accountability, and a full response to the issues raised.
Public confidence depends on open, transparent, and accountable science.
