Sheep farming: when cell towers decimate a flock!
In Saint-Christophe, in the Creuse region of France, a farming couple is watching their herd die. Since the installation of several cell towers around their farm four years ago, their livestock has been decimated. The animals are wasting away, losses are mounting, and their livelihood—built with passion and dedication—is threatened with collapse.
But the worst part is that the animals aren’t the only victims. The farmers themselves have seen their health deteriorate since the towers were installed.
And they are not alone. All over France, other farmers are experiencing the same tragedy in deafening silence, with neither the authorities nor the operators deigning to respond to their pleas.
Philippe Dussart went to Saint-Christophe to investigate and give a voice to those whose voices are not heard. Because behind the numbers and frequencies, there are men, women, and 700 sheep who did nothing to deserve this.
